Mommy and J-bug got to do another review! J-bug was very excited when I let her browse the Bebe au Lait fabric patterns for their Hooded Towels and pick out her fave. {She picked Shrine by the way...pink of course!} Now for shower time. {Can I just add that she showered all by herself...shampoo and everything! More time for mommy! Of course I checked on her every minute...who do you think I am?}
J-bug loved the Hooded Towel. It is for sure a step up from her Hello Kitty one. After bath time she wore the towel and walked down the stairs proclaiming she was a bride...sniff, sniff.
Now let's talk about why I like the towel. My first fave...magnets. Yep. They are used for a closure to keep the Hooded Towel on hands free. Genius! I included a pic so you could drool over my cutie-pie princess and check out the closure just under her chin. {Sorry the pics suck! Did I mention my digi camera is no good. Took these with my phone.}

My second fave...The hooded towel has a trim sewn to the front {kinda like a an arm cap/pocket} I imagine a toddler's arms would fit snuggly in there {Their toddler size fits 2T-3T}. But...I don't have a toddler anymore...sniff, sniff. She wears size 4 {as in big girl clothes} so her arms are a wee bit longer. {Just to give you an idea of the towel's size...J-bug is 41" tall.}

And for one more perk...the towel's hood it double thickness {at least}. It helps absorb all the excess water from your munchkin's hair so they aren't standing there in a sopping wet towel.
Need I say more?
Now enough about my review. Let me tell you a little about Bebe au Lait.
Bebe au Lait {originally called Hooter Hider} started of when Claire Ekelund, a nursing mother, couldn't find the perfect nursing cover and decided to design one herself. She created a nursing cover with a rigid neckline allowing Mom and Baby unobstructed eye contact during feeding as well as other thoughtful features such as a small-item storage and clean-up pocket made from the softest terry cloth. Did I mention that moms rock? Yes we do ladies!
Claire and her husband Ronnie realized they had something big here. They started their own company Hooter Hider. The company took off and the name evolved to Baby au Lait. Though they continue to use both labels for their nursing covers. Let's face it, both names are great! Say "Hooter Hiders" without wanting to giggle...hee hee.

Bebe au Lait also makes adorable burp cloths made of cotton terrycloth and an adorable splash of patterned fabric.

but they have also designed their bibs with a magnetic closure as well as a unique design to provide the maximum in clean surfaces. That's right. There are four "bib fronts" for you to use. Cool, right. I thought so. So if your munchkin decides to spit out a mouth full of mashed peas just reverse the flaps and voila! A new clean surface for your child to make a mess on... Good thing there are still two more clean surfaces.

I like the Bebe au Lait Black Eyelet Nursing Cover
I like the mint chocolate, but really all of them are cute.
Honestly, I like the hot dots best. It's so fun. BUT seeing as how I don't necessarily know the sex of this coming baby, I'd choose the Yoko. There aren't many masculine designs.
