Thre Days 'til The Big 3-3

Yep. Only three days and then its one year older for me.

So J-bug will be helping grandpa make me some birthday cupcakes. I want white cake with homemade chocolate frosting. J-bug says no to that one. "No chocolate frosting." She is also saying no to getting me flowers. Simply becasue "They are going to be dead and then I {as in J-bug} am just gonna have to throw them away." I'm buying my own flowers even though she threatens to take them back to the store if I do. Who's child is she anyways?

Then Next weekend {the 15th} I am hoping to do something with some friends...except I can't figure out what I want to do. They are harassing me about it...

Now for the fun b-day surprise! My sister's b-day is alsoin Jan {I'm younger..ha ha!} so we usually throw ourselves a joint family party. After she spent a crap load of money on last years party and we both slaved for two days cleaning for the party , cooking and making drinks I said next year, skip the party and lets do something fun. So this year we are gonna spend two nights here...

The Grand Californian Hotels inside Disney's Californian Adventure! Of course J-bug will come along too. SOOOO excited! And I will be taking a crap load of pics. The hotel has it's own entrance to the park. We are gonna have breakfast with the princesses, go on all the rides, if a little princess turns into a monster it's back to the room for a nap.

YAY! So running around like a kid at D-land should take the edge off of turning a year older just a bit.

The lovie's at Eden Fantasys let me do another review. So me being oblivious when it comes to erotica books decided to take a stab at it. It's not my money, right?

So here is my pick. The Best of Best American Erotica 2008.

Let me start off by telling you what I thought erotica and this book was supposed to be all about...umkay? I thought erotica was less in your face then porn, geared to women with a softer and sensual approach. So I was wrong. Now you may stop laughing at me. I am sure that there is an erotic book or two out there that fit the bill...just not this one.

You will love this book if any of the following turn you on...
-Twin brother and sister getting it on with each other and in a threesome.
-A high school girl obsessed with her male teacher leaving him raunchy notes {Hmm...maybe I did that} as well as a few other things.
- Guy on guy
- More guy on guy
- Being strapped to a chair in a public place while people torture you and paint your nails
- Older girl with pre-pubescent girl

I would have ditched the book from the get go if I did not have to review it.

Those things are just not my style. Call me a square... Perhaps I should have spent more time picking out the book.

What was Barbie thinking? There is no way in hell you ill find this under my Xmas tree.

France Barbie? Really? It looks more like "Trance Barbie"....high on E at a rave. I saw this at Big Lots and had to take a pic.

And then there's Goldie Hawn Barbie. I had a WTF moment at Walmart today when I saw it. Blonde Ambition Barbie. (The pic is off the web)

So I get that you would collect it, not give it to your kid. But couldn't the face look a little more like Goldie?

Hmm. Perhaps a longer neck?

P.S. It's been a good week. Mom is doing well at her new home. I am catching up with Christmas stuff.

Serious Suckage

So today was the day. We put my mom into a home. Her Alzheimers just got too hard to deal with. She took a swing at my dad. She stormed out of the house a few times, she cries, throws stuff. It has taken its toll on us. It has been hell since Thanksgiving.

My dad and I dropped her off earlier today...and we left. I left. I walked away from my mother. Leaving her in a strange place all alone.

This isn't how it is supposed to be. My mom just turned 64 last week. She has lived the past eight years in a fog, we all have. Who the hell get's diagnosed with Alzheimers at the age of 56! Why did they take her away from me and leave me with a shell of her. No laughter, no advice, no memories of her enjoying her only grand daughter.

I am mad, angry, pissed, hurt, sad, guilty, furious.

I am empty.

I want my mommy back.

My Hellish Week

First let me start off on a high note...Thanksgiving went well. There were 19 of us here and no drama.

And now for the crap...

My mom has been really bad. Since her daycare was closed for turkey day through Sunday we got a real dose of reality. My mom's Alzheimer's has progressed to worse...intolerable. She is shouting and now leaving the house. Not good. It has taken it's toll on all of us. Even with my brother staying the weekend we were still overwhelmed. So my sister and dad went out yesterday looking at live-in facilities for my mother. It looks like it's time.

Next on the agenda. My ex is an ass! I emailed him Sunday regarding school pictures for J-bug. He responded to the email with this...

"Get me the package D. I was going to tell you tomorrow, I'm going to be moving in with GF, GF's sis, GF's daughter and GF's niece. They found a house (to rent) that they really like and pretty much told me I was going with sooo.... I already talked to J-bug about it and she said she was happy about it. J-bug and GF's daughter will share a room. I wanted to find out if we for sure got it before I told you."

Umm. WTF! Here's why I was pissed. He told our daughter five days ago but didn't think I needed to know? So when J-bug got home Monday from school she crawled into bed with me {I worked the night before} and I asked her if she was getting a new room. She said "No." I said are you sure? She said "No. Why did daddy tell you already? He told me not to tell you." WHAT!!! So she went on to tell me how she was going to share her room, blah, blah, blah... So now I am pissed. That fucker told our daughter not to tell me!

Next... So now I am awake and J-bug is sleeping in my bed. I go downstairs. Two hours later I come upstairs and hear her whimpering in my room. I go in abd her face is red, she is hot. I use my Exergen temporal scanner and her temp is 104.4. Crap! I wake her up give her meds, call the doc. Crossing my fingers she doesn't have H1N1. I know the drill...fluids and Motrin. Call if breathing issues or a blue tint around her mouth. Then I call her dad. Me, being nice, decided not to mention the "moving" situation. My concern was our daughter's temp. But he brought it up..."Umm. Did you get my email about the pictures and the other stuff? What do you think?" I told him what I thought. That I told him before. I need to be informed of any changes affecting our daughter. That it was not fair of him to tell our daughter not to tell me something... and I went on and on. He said he didn't want me to get mad. I told him that I saw the move coming. They have been together three years. Moving is going to be a huge adjustment for J-bug. She is going from an only child to a household with two eight year olds...and she will be sharing her room. Oh. And she thinks her daddy is gonna have his own room too.

Getting back to J-bug. So she had a 104.4 temp Monday afternoon with a low of 101. Tues am it was 104.7 and went down to 100, and this morning it was 103.4 but it's now 99 {yay!}. She developed a barking cough yesterday afternoon so I am guessing that she has croup. She gets it every year usually in late November. And a 104 temp not new for her.

So umm. That's been my week from Hell. How was your week?
